I can totally relate, except in our house it was English.  There were late night essays and research papers.

There was also frustration and at times even tears.

As a parent, I believe we are to teach our children.  However, I've also learned that it's okay if we don't teach them EVERYthing.... like driving!  In fact, sometimes it's simply better (for our relationship) if we allow someone else to teach them. Think about it, it's actually a WIN-WIN situation.
